A 1971 Fiat 500 F, fully restored from the ground up in a family-owned workshop south of Rome. Original papers, original plates, original soul — brought back to life the Italian way.
Our Story
Cassino, Italy
Italy was never just a place on the map — it was a feeling. I was very young when my parents took me to Italy for the very first time, and since then I've returned every year — sometimes more than once. The heat, the light, the colours of a world nothing like home. Somewhere between the terracotta rooftops and the scent of espresso drifting from open doorways, something took root. A connection to this country — to its people, its craft, its way of making beautiful things with bare hands and unshakable pride.
That feeling never left. Over the years it grew quietly — through Italian food, Italian design, Italian cars. Everything I gravitated toward carried the same thread: authenticity, soul, and character over perfection. And one image kept coming back: a small, round, impossibly charming car on a sun-drenched street. A Fiat 500.
By late 2024, the dream had become a mission. I spent countless hours scrolling through classifieds, studying chassis numbers, making calls to workshops across southern Italy. I extended my search across Europe — France, Portugal, the UK, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland — and even visited a few dealers and workshops in person for specific cars. I saw dozens. Some were too far gone. Others looked right but felt wrong — no history, no papers, no soul.
I wasn't looking for just any Fiat 500. I wanted strong history, good bones, original papers, the manual, even the old plates. A car with a story worth continuing. And for months, I couldn't find it.
Then, early 2025, a lead took me to a small family-owned workshop between Rome and Naples. The kind of place that doesn't advertise, where knowledge passes from father to son. I flew down — and from the moment I stepped through the door, I knew. We talked for hours. Not about business — about passion. About what these cars mean and why they deserve to be saved properly. We shared the same values. That handshake was the beginning of everything.
What followed was a complete, ground-up restoration of a 1971 Fiat 500 F. Every bolt removed, every panel stripped to bare metal — repaired, shaped, and repainted in its original verde. Engine rebuilt, gearbox overhauled, interior reupholstered by hand. Wiring, brakes, suspension, chrome — nothing left untouched. And through it all, the car's identity was preserved: original Carta di Circolazione, original manual, original plates. A complete history, unbroken.
Giuseppe Verde is not just a car. It's a childhood dream, a connection to Italy, and proof that the things worth having are the things worth waiting for.
