Our Story
Cassino, Italy
Italy was never just a place on the map, it was a feeling. Childhood trips turned into an annual tradition, and somewhere between terracotta rooftops and the scent of espresso, a deep connection took root — to the country, its people, and its pride in creating beautiful things by hand. One image kept returning: a small, round, unmistakably charming car on a sunlit street. A Fiat 500.
By late 2024, the dream had become a mission. I searched across Italy, France, Portugal, the UK, Germany, Switzerland — saw dozens of cars. Most were missing history, paperwork, or soul. Then, in early 2025, a lead brought me to a small, family-run workshop between Rome and Naples. From the moment I walked in, I knew. That handshake marked the beginning.
What followed was a full, ground-up restoration of a 1971 Fiat 500 F. Every panel stripped to bare metal, repainted in its original verde. Engine rebuilt, gearbox overhauled, interior reupholstered by hand. Throughout it all, the car's identity stayed intact: original Carta di Circolazione, manual, and plates. Giuseppe Verde is more than a car — it's a childhood dream brought to life.

The eBooks
Two personal guides based on my own experience buying, restoring, and owning a classic Fiat 500 , honest observations, real lessons, no shortcuts.
Based on the restoration of my 1971 Fiat 500 F "Giuseppe Verde", this guide shares what I learned about finding the right car, evaluating sellers, understanding contracts, and avoiding costly mistakes. From spotting rust traps to choosing between buying restored or restoring yourself.
14 chapters across 59 pages of honest, first-hand observations. No fluff , just what I wish someone had told me before I started.
What actually happens during a full frame-off restoration? This companion guide documents every decision, every lesson, and every mistake from my 9-month restoration journey , from bare metal bodywork and anti-corrosion strategy to engine rebuild and final assembly.
50 pages covering 21 topics: body & rust treatment, paint process, engine rebuild, brakes & transmission, electrical, interior , plus red flags when buying, key questions to ask a workshop, and things to avoid. This is not a technical workshop manual , it's a guide on how to approach a restoration together with a professional workshop.
These guides reflect my personal experience and perspective only. They do not constitute professional, technical, mechanical, or legal advice. I assume no responsibility or liability for any decisions, purchases, or outcomes based on this content. Every car and every restoration is different. Always consult qualified professionals before making any decisions. These guides do not replace the work of a professional workshop.
